Hello, everyone.  I would once again beg your indulgence while I wait for the ability to upload files.  Here are the due dates as they currently stand.

Research Project

You need to have your Rough Draft (which should be pretty polished) done by Monday the 19th

You need to have your Notes, Outline, Annotations, and Bibliography placed in a folder and in my hands by the end of this week.  With luck, I’ll be able to assess all of your research this weekend, so that’ll already be out of the way!!!

Gatewayers

Any lingering revisions you still need to do are due on the 19th.  They need to meet, so getting this done early and checking with me will save you substantial heartache.

Non-Gatewayers

Any lingering revisions you still need to do should be handed in by the 23rd or so.  We’ll be making Year-End work folders in class.

In the meantime, here’s what you need to know:

On Friday, you will have made a set of Research Questions.  Using those questions, you will complete TYPED notes from a Book Source Internet Source for Monday.  Use Portaportal to help you.

Hey everybody!

Over break, you want to take another roll of film, this time choosing your subjects/forms a little more carefully so that you can do your “subject+form=meaning” powerpoint.  Take about 30 more pictures and choose three from either roll to put together.  We’ll work on putting them into a powerpoint and writing an artist’s statement on Monday.

Meanwhile, finish those revisions!

That’s the homework for Thursday.  You need to put the photos on a CD or on a memory disc.  Complex, no?

Well, ok, it can be a little more complicated than that - it’ll help to use your Photography Toolbox to take your photographs carefully.  But any 30 shots will count as “prepared for class”, so don’t worry if they’re not perfect….yet.

Mike, you’re awesome!  I’m going to have a lot of fun figuring out how to use this!!!
